DTFADMIN helps database administrators manage access rights.
It generates a display/report for database administrators listing all
users and their access rights, with option to display passwords. This is
not a tool to break database security, since you have to have proper access
rights to use it, and it won't tell more than Q&A will.
What it does for you that Q&A doesn't is produce a nice report showing
users and their access rights in the form of a table. This includes field
level security.
As an option, it will also display the passwords for all users except
those with password access. This gives a database administrator the ability
to monitor passwords, making sure that those selected by end users are
not easy to guess, and that they are changed with the proper frequency.
Here is a screen shot of a report showing all users and their access
rights for one database. Passwords can be displayed, but in this case they
are hidden.
