| DTFPASWD allows user to change password in many databases at once
|
| Having users periodically change passwords is a hassle. But it's made
much worse when the user has to make the same change in multiple databases.
|
| You have the same hassle if you, the administrator, make the changes
for the users. |
| With DTFPASWD, the administrator (or the user) only has to enter a password
once. While it is being entered, it is not visible (unlike entering
a password with Q&A). The program then makes the change in all
the databases defined for that user. |
 |
| The database administrator keeps track of which users are allowed to
use which databases (see also dtfadmin), and
maintains a file named DTFPASWD.INI. This file is used by the program to
know for which databases the password should be changed. |
| DTFPASWD can also be used to change a user ID simultaneously in several
databases. |

DTFADMIN. |
